I think we all are guilty of this from time to time–putting more priority on “stuff” rather than what’s really important. I always strive to live a simple life with an emphasis on the truly important things: my daughter, my family, my friends, my pets, and achieving my goals, not for materialistic reasons, but for the joy of making my dreams come true. Of course I also want to contribute something positive to the world and protect nature while I’m still above ground.
So the next time you’re stressing about something insignificant, let it go! Instead of stressing or worrying, give someone you love a big hug. You’ll not only brighten up their day but you’ll probably forget all about your problems…at least for the duration of the hug.
