Wanna-Be Poetry: Silly Little Girl

This poem came to me Thursday night after I’d written “Sacrifice.” Almost a prequel, if you will. It kinda reveals a bit more about Josh and Hanna, their relationship dynamic and hints at their future. As always I appreciate any and all comments.

For the record: I don’t claim to be a poet and rarely write them because I’m so inexperienced.

Silly little girl,
don’t you feel him
waking your heart?

He’ll steal it away
and rip it apart.

Quick!
You’re almost his
inside a private hell.

So run away;
save yourself!
