My sister sent this link to me today. It has to be one of the best, if not the best, responses to the never ending, "What about socialization?" question all homeschoolers get sooner or later. Thank you, Mrs. G!

Hi Leah,
I can totally identify with the struggle. The fact that you write as often as you do is amazing. I am also a self-employed mom and often find my business taking precedent over my dream and first love... writing. I am horrible at the administrative part of getting published too. I have 4 books (all unpublished). I don't send out nearly enough queries. It's like I just wanna write and not have to do the work to get published, which is probably why I'm not. LOL!

I did have some success with lit mags though. You might try that. There are a ton of them out there that accept e-queries and it's a good place to build your publishing repertoire.

Keep writing. You're great.

BTW... True Blood rules!

Adding ya to my blog roll.
